Rediscover = To Discover Something Forgotten or Ignored
Dr. Martin Luther King:
"If we are to go forward today, we’ve got to go back and rediscover some mighty precious values that we’ve left behind."
There are some foundational truths that our faith is built upon but in our desire to be progressive, innovative and cutting edge, we can easily drift away from the tenets of our faith.
Everything in life drifts. Drifting is the slow erosion of what we hold dear to us but over time we lose it. We can't allow complacency and ease to erode the chain that holds the anchor that secures our ship.
Drifting is the gap between the values that we say that we espouse and the behavior that we actual display. It is not always apparent at first glance but its presence is a real threat to the legacy of your Family.
We must learn to search the heart of God, write the Values that He has given us, teach our families and be prepared to correct others along the way.
